Earlier this month, RateGravity visited the online furniture retailer Wayfair to deliver a Lunch-and-Learn Homebuyer Seminar. With over 200 registrants, RateGravity was required to host multiple classes, which took place at Wayfair’s Copley Place headquarters.
Patrick Boyaggi, CEO of RateGravity, presented an overview of the homebuying timeline to the attendees. The class also discussed specific concerns about the unique challenges of buying a home in the Greater Boston area. A variety of questions came up, from down payment options to the differences between condos and single family properties and VA loan eligibility.
Most attendees were at the early stages of the homebuying process.
Attendee Michaela S. said, “There were so many things we did not realize! I cannot wait to set up a one-on-one and get even more knowledge about homebuying.”
For many, attending a RateGravity homebuying class was their first serious step toward homeownership. Since the class, RateGravity mortgage advisors have conducted dozens of financing consultations with Wayfair employees and paired many homebuyers with top, local real estate agents from the RateGravity Agent Network.
The team at Wayfair was glad to provide an educational opportunity to their employees.
“I believe that all employees who attended really enjoyed it and took advantage of the great information provided,” said Sara Alacorn, who helped coordinate the event for Wayfair.
Wayfair employs approximately 3,000 people at its Boston headquarters and over 10,000 people worldwide.
“At RateGravity we deliver no-sell homebuying classes to large Greater Boston employers with the goal of preparing homebuyers to make smart financial decisions,” said Boyaggi. “In such a competitive housing market, we know that knowledge and preparation often make the difference between an accepted offer and a missed chance.”
